For the first 25 years of my life, I carried debilitating shame about my body that affected every area of my life.
I couldn't wear short sleeves, even in the blazing summer heat.
I had no idea how I would ever fall in love, much less be intimate with someone, when I couldn't even undress for a shower without a shame attack.

Meet Mary
Hello gorgeous! I'm Mary Lofgren, certified Feminine Embodiment Coach, Burlesque Starlet, and hostess of the Come To Your Senses Podcast.
I've been teaching and performing burlesque since 2006. (You might know me as my persona "Kitty Cavalier.")
Burlesque EXPLODED my sense of self and self image. I couldn’t believe how this ancient art form erased negative beliefs I had worked years to overcome.
I went from feeling like a meek wallflower who couldn't even SAY the word sensuality, to an onstage startlet that could devastate a room with the simple flick of a glove.
From the moment I first held a feather fan, something wild awakened in me. I felt my truest, most irreverent, sassy, powerful self rise to the surface. It was like my inner child and my mature adult were finally playing on the same team, and I had never had so much fun in my whole entire life.
It's my mission to pass this awakening on to any woman who wants it.
